Summary:

Not a bad year, but mostly unmemorable. The goal this year was to get back to the level I was at in Fall 2006, when I first dipped under 26 minutes at Franklin Park. With steady (albeit unremarkable) training, I achieved that. Had I not gotten terribly sick around Thanksgiving, I'm sure I would have raced a lot better at Club Nationals. That said, it's time to take it to the next level. Simply put, the key to a successful year is improving my aerobic fitness through higher mileage and consistent training. More simply, I just have to get out the door and get it done. Do!
